We have a system that is cheaper and fairer to small businesses than EBay, Amazon Marketplace and any other auction site! Whether its new or old, a childs toy or a car, you can use our site to advertise.
Your advert will run for a maximum of 6 months…providing you enough time to sell all your stock.
To place your products on our website is easy, all you have to do is:
1. Use our contact page and tell us you want to place some products on our site.
We will then email you an email address to send the following details to.
2. Once you have received the email address you will need to send the following in a word or Excel:
• The name of the product.
• The price you want to sell it for.
• A brief description of the product.
• A picture of the product (send us this in the body of the email, not in the word or excel document).
• A PayPal button (HTML code, this is generated within your PayPal profile).
• Your full name, telephone number and address.
3. Once we have your product information we will then email you an electronic invoice which you pay and then we start the advertising procedure.
4. We will then create the Page and location for your item.
You will be responsible for the item even though it is on our site.
We reserve the right to stop a placement at any time with good reason.
We only charge £1 per product (non-refundable) even if you have 10 of the same thing in stock, all you need to do is tell us when you have sold all of them so that we can remove the listing.
If you would like to have 10 or more products listed then we can reduce our change to £0.90 per product (non-refundable).
Listing Terms:
1. Listings are accepted upon the representation that the advertiser and their agencies are authorized to publish the contents thereof.
2. Conditions, other than rates, are subject to change without notice.
3. All contents of listings are subject to J & L Toy’s approval. J & L Toys reserves the right to cancel listings, advertisements, insertion orders, space reservations or position commitment at any time.
4. The positioning of listings are at the discretion of J & L Toys, except where a specifically requested, preferred position is acknowledged by J & L Toy’s in writing on a signed insertion order. Additional charges will apply.
5. The J & L Toys shall have no liability for errors in the Advertisers' Index.
6. Cancellations or changes can be made at any time. All insertion orders are accepted subject to provisions of our current ad-rate. Rates are subject to change upon notice from J & L Toys.
7. J & L Toys shall not be liable for any cost or damages if for any reason the listing is not published.
8. J & L Toys shall have the right to hold any advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly and severally liable for money due and payable to J & L Toys for listing that the advertiser or its agency ordered and that was published.
9. No variation of these terms and conditions shall be binding unless specifically agreed in writing by J & L Toys. No conditions printed or appearing elsewhere that conflict with its provisions will be binding on J & L Toys.
10. J & L Toys is not liable for delay in delivery and/or non-delivery in the event of an act of God, action of government entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes either legal or illegal, labour or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown or any condition beyond the control of the J & L Toys affecting production or delivery in any manner.
11. The agency and the advertiser will indemnify and save J & L Toys harmless from and against any loss or expense arising out of publication from such listings, including, without limitation, those resulting from claims or suite for libel, violations or rights of privacy, plagiarism and copyright infringement.
12. J & L Toys shall not be held responsible for the content of the listing or the service which is provided by the advertiser.
13. Cancellation of listing space must be made in writing.
14. Contracts are rolling contracts for maximum of 6 months.
15. Discounts are subject to the payment of invoices in accordance with the terms shown thereon.
16. Accounts must be paid on the terms indicated on the invoice. Interest will be charged monthly on overdue accounts at the rate of 2% per month on any sum not paid in full by the due date. J & L Toys reserves the right to pass lengthy overdue accounts to a third party for collection and to recover the collection costs from the advertiser.
17. These terms and conditions and all other express terms and conditions and contracts shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of England (United Kingdom) for advertisements or listings booked elsewhere.
