Galt History |
James Galt & Co. Ltd. has been established for over 150 years. James Galt himself was born at Stewarton in Ayrshire and set up as an educational stockist in Manchester in 1836. In the 1850s the company expanded into printing and publishing and in 1957 the company moved from Manchester to Cheadle in Cheshire. In 1961 the Galt Toys division was formed.
